From 29 April 2016 all properties in NSW with a swimming pool or spa pool cannot be sold without a valid certificate of compliance or certificate of non-compliance outlining the issues that need to be fixed.
A property with a pool or spa that is being leased must have a valid certificate of compliance.
Only accredited private certifiers can provide information on how to obtain a certificate.
